Seattle has been very fortunate to have a man like Ken Holmes at the helm of Greenstage for as long as he has been and, now, we look forward to the coming years with Erin Day's leadership. Congratulations, Ken and Erin, on all your new responsibilities!

Greenstage Artistic Director Steps Down After 22 Years
Ken Holmes, a founding member of Greenstage, has stepped down from his role as Artistic Director to take on the role of Managing Director. Greenstage veteran Erin Day will be taking over as Artistic Director effective immediately. With a new child to care for, Holmes responsibilities have shifted to the home front, giving Day the opportunity to step into the leading shoes. "This year, we've taken the huge step of instituting a paid staff of five amazing people - until now, we've been all volunteer," stated Holmes. After 22 years of performances, Greenstage is now able to give back much more significantly to those who make the magic happen. If you are unfamiliar with Greenstage, check out the Seattle Outdoor Theatre Festival this summer in parks all over the greater Seattle area. Greenstage, and people like Ken Holmes and Erin Day, are responsible for bringing that together.
