(Seattle) - October 22nd, 2010, over 20 multidisciplinary Seattle artists and local personalities will band together over their mutual first love... musical theater. Performers/curators Sarah Rudinoff, Nick Garrison, Sara Edwards and Paula the Swedish Housewife have enlisted Seattle’s leading musical theater performers, indie rock musicians, burlesque dancers, dragerific artists and special guests in a show filled with songs from the show world. They asked these artists: what was your first taste of musical theatre? What role would you never be cast in, but have always wanted to play? What song have you always secretly loved? Discover their answers all in one show.Hosted and led by local musical theater/cabaret icons Rudinoff and Garrison the evening will include a mix of sincere, ridiculous, experimental and sensational performances by:
-Seattle's drag dance sensation, The Cherdonna and Lou Show
-Installation/visual/performing artist and Franklin High School teacher, Jed Dunkerley
-Tragically desperate French Project chanteuse Sara Edwards
-Editor of The Stranger, Christopher Frizzelle
-Dance-theatre troublemakers Stephen Hando & Juliet Waller Pruzan
-Apocalyptic drag legend Jackie Hell
-Poet, MC and provocateur from Canary Sing, Hollis
-New York City’s post-religious gospel goddess Our Lady J
-Musical theatre leading man and blues vocalist Brandon O'Neill
-Performing/cabaret artist, singer and burlesque dancer, Paula the Swedish Housewife
-Alice and Ryan from the eclectic popsters The Pica Beats
-Brad, Satchel and Pigeonhead frontman Shawn Smith
-Evan Mosher & Rob Witmer from “Awesome” and Rick Miller of The Railroad Tycoons make up The Three Amigos
-Seattle lounge scene master Paul West and his daughter, Stranger film editor Lindy West
