$10 Tickets Available for October 17th We Are Family Concert with every Non-Perishable Food or Household Item Donated
WHAT: Reaching out and giving back this Fall, Seattle Women’s Chorus partners with Hopelink to bring music lovers a ticket discount – donation event! Starting one hour before showtime (Sunday October 17th at 6:30pm) on the day of the concert only, Benaroya Hall’s box office will sell all remaining seats for $10 with every non-perishable food or household item donated to Hopelink.
Tickets regularly sell for $20 - $50 so this can mean a possible discount of up to $40, or 80% off. Seating is subject to ticket availability and is on a first come-first served basis.
HOW: This offer is NOT available online or over the phone. Available in person, day of show only. Ticket buyers are asked to donate one non-perishable food or household item per $10 ticket. Suggested items include dry pasta, canned vegetables, cleaning or laundry products. Seattle Women’s Chorus kicks off its eighth season with a concert showcasing the full range of familial connections. Co-presented by the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, We Are Family will feature segments of Rosie O’Donnell’s heartwarming HBO documentary film: A Family is a Family is a Family, complemented by a delightful collection of expertly performed choral music. Songs will include Broadway selections by Sondheim and Rodgers & Hammerstein, original compositions, ballads by Holly Near, classic anthems “Everything Possible” and upbeat pop numbers like “We Are Family.”
