Burien, WA – ChoralSounds Northwest brings A Merry Olde Christmas to Burien this holiday season. In its first quarter century ChoralSounds has grown to one of the South End’s most beloved holiday traditions. This year conductor David Spring directs Benjamin Britten’s classic Ceremony of Carols and a fun-filled revue of the holiday season entitled What the Dickens?. Popular hits like Ding Dong, Merrily on High, I’ll be Home for Christmas, Deck the Halls, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree guarantee this will be a holiday concert that both young and old will enjoy. Families hunting for affordable entertainment will delight and parents looking for a risk-free way to introduce their children to the joys of choral music can rest easy because Northwest Associated Arts youth ticket program lets young people 17 and under in free with a paid adult ticket.

ChoralSounds Northwest, a Burien-based chorus of 70 men and women, operates under the baton of conductor David Spring. He has developed a loyal and growing following with family-friendly shows that offer much more than the usual “choral concert.” Audiences marvel at the colorful costumes, creative staging, and exuberant choreography. ChoralSounds is a part of Northwest Associated Arts, which includes KidSounds Northwest, YouthSounds Northwest, TeenSounds Northwest and Cantaré Vocal Ensemble.
